When she pokes her head into the room while the nurse practitioner does the exam.

Thanks for sharing. At least I know it's not bizarre to expect to talk to the oncologist!Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12031358252817150321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5541587873267542093.post-55799952123370580752009-04-07T22:33:00.000-07:002009-04-07T22:33:00.000-07:00One of the women I work with lives in the San Fern...One of the women I work with lives in the San Fernando Valley. She was diagnosed with breast CA last spring. She is a Kiaser patient. From her stories you could not have asked for better treatment. Examples: oncologist & radiologist both called her after her each radiation treatment to see how she felt and if she had any questions. Since she had to go to west la for radiation they arranged a shuttle to take her from kaiser in the valley to la kaiser so she wouldn't have to deal with parking. When she called for follow-up appts the receptionists always asked if she had any other physicians to see and would then co-ordinate all the appts in one day for her.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5541587873267542093.post-10209093234056038042009-04-07T19:04:00.000-07:002009-04-07T19:04:00.000-07:00Yeah, so I didn't weigh in because I figured you h...Yeah, so I didn't weigh in because I figured you had heard all you needed to from me... hence the referral to UCLA. I have seen/heard nothing that makes my tendency to distrust IE doctors nonsensical. On the ortho level, I had the worst f'g experience ever with Donaldson. On the ob/gyn front, our friend John either over-reacted (my case) or acted appropriately (but failed to follow thru). My ob/gyn at UCLA is the best woman, doctor, person I have ever met. I'm hoping to break the ice for others who may have had problems.Staceynoreply@blogger.com
