Adopt an Adorable

That's not Seamus. That's Cosby...and he needs a home.

I'm participating in Petfinder.com's adopt the internet day--March 15th. Seamus is an adopted dog--shocking, I know, since we look so much alike. I have volunteered with our local pet adoption agency for over twenty years now. Finding homes for these wonderful animals is definitely a passion of mine. So, in honor of Seamus, and for Cosby and the many like him, today I remind you---

More than 320,000 pets are waiting for homes on Petfinder.com. Help Petfinder Adopt the Internet today and find forever homes for as many as possible!

  1. Good luck on your furever home Cosby, they are out there! I know, because I found my Hope through Petfinder last November. Hope sends a shout out and says, "There are good homes out there Cosby. My new Mom drove 16 hours round trip to rescue me from a shelter in Idaho. I don't know why I was there. My old owner just dropped me off one day. The shelter said that I was scheduled for euthanazia 2 days before my new mom found me on petfinder. She came and got me in time, and I am SOOOOO happy to get to do helicopter tails for her! I love my new home, and I love to hang out with my mom, and be there for her while she fights breast cancer. That's why she calls me Hope"!

  2. I just spent an hour looking at that website. Oh boy. Do you know what you've just done?! I've completely hopped on the I-need-to-be-a-dogmom-again bandwagon. Uh oh. :-)

  3. @Sami-- I know exactly what I've done. Bwahahahah! ;-) Any doggie would be lucky to call you "mom." Let us know who the lucky dog is!

@Charmine-good to know your Hope is a rescue dog too! They are the best.

  4. @Sami, Join the very-well-versed club! I am so glad we have a new member! A day I don't stalk Petfinder is a very lonely day.

Go Team Animal Rescue! Thanks for helping to spread the word! It's all about converting one person at a time. Once you have gone adoption, there really is no going back. ;-)
