Chemo Day Five...Slowing Down

I went back to work today and while I was able to get quite a bit done...I have to admit I was slowing down. Two meetings in a row had me fairly wiped out. This pacing myself thing will be difficult. Must remember I'm sick.

Also, in breaking chemo news, tonight I have that "metallic" taste in my mouth I've heard about as a possible side effect. Nothing wrong with my appetite, but we'll see if this weird taste changes things.

And that's all I've got. I'm tired. I'm going to bed early--like a cancer patient. Seamus has already staked out his spot on the bed, like a former cancer patient. And even Chris is pretty darn tired.

Goodnight all.

  1. Girl, you looked fabulous the few minutes I saw you today. You are a cancer patient--please do try to pace yourself-(even though we need your expertise)Rest when possible and tell people when you've had enough. You need to think about your health and your needs. Sleep tight--
